Ink
There is no line-work to speak of. A block of tofu is a flat white shape with almost no edge, so the bowl and the single red leaf have to carry the drawing.
White is not an ink here, the paper is. That makes tofu the one subject drawn by leaving the ink off entirely, which is exactly why it is not in the fruit run.
